   Muscle Relaxing Techniques

• Ultrasound - sound waves penetrate deep into tissues to warm muscles, increase circulation, promote relaxation, and break down scar tissue.
• Electrical Stimulation - used in conjunction with ultrasound helps to stimulate muscle contraction to re-educate proper firing of musculature, increase range of motion, decrease muscle spasms, decrease trigger points, and increase muscle tone and strength.
• Cold Laser - used to treat acupuncture points to help reduce myospasm and promote relaxation of skeletal muscle.
• Deep Muscle Therapy - performed by the doctor to reduce trigger points and muscle spasms. If these issues are not addressed they can lead to pain and muscular imbalances creating fixation of the spine.

 

 

Pain Control

• Interferential Current - used in conjunction with ice packs can quickly reduce pain intensity, decrease swelling or fluid buildup, and promote healing by increasing blood flow and nutrition to tissues and muscles.
• Ultrasound - when applied with a pulsed setting is able to pump inflammation out of injured tissues.
• Cold Laser - used to treat acupuncture points to help decrease pain, decrease swelling, and improve circulation

  Meridian Testing

• EMI - Electro-Meridian Imaging - the quickest, easiest, and most accurate means to diagnose and select the proper acupuncture points for treatment.
• Electro-Stimulation - technique used for acupuncture points.
